All Fruit Diet

An all-fruit diet is also known as a fruitarian diet. So a person that wants to follow this diet plan is known as a fruitarian. Usually, a person that follows this diet plan strictly eats fruits during the diet. Some people include nuts as well in their diet plan. But that’s not strictly a fruitarian diet.

So, it’s advised that a person on a fruitarian diet takes one and a half to two cups of fruit every day. The fruit is a whole piece of fruit. Also, it could be 100% fruit juice. Usually, a fruitarian would take more than the two suggested fruits a day. And that’s because taking just two fruits a day wouldn’t be able to fill you up for the whole day.

Is It okay to eat different fruits in a day? Yes of course. But you have to eat different fruits at an interval of 90 minutes. So if you take a banana right now, you have to wait for another 90 minutes before you can take an apple. Also, the fruitarian foundation says it is okay to take as many fruits as you want. The main point is to eat until you are satisfied. And this could come with a risk which we will look at later. Also, if you’re not hungry, you’re not allowed to eat any fruits.

Another interesting thing about this diet plan is that certain fruits are recommended at certain times of the day. But some can be eaten at any time of the day. These fruits are:

  • Banana
  • Fully ripe avocado
  • Chemical-free olives
  • Lemon juice
  • Coconut
  • Raw cashews, almonds, chestnuts, and hazelnuts
